While visiting Costa
Rica, it becomes a necessity to experience the struggle
of earth's constant growth by witnessing this at
the site of a live erupting volcano. This lifelong
expression of earth's wrenching safety powers is
shared with the beauty of surrounding vegetation
and the breathtaking view of the Arenal lake, Central
America's largest artificial fresh water reservoir.
This can all be seen from our station which is close
to the volcano according to safety permits.
On our way to Arenal
we will travel up the central volcanic mountain
range, and go through the beautiful towns of Zarcero
and Naranjo, among others. On the trip back, after
a stop at a restaurant where the food is always
top notch, we'll take some different roads so you
may admire yet more of the flora and fauna of the
area. This tour is also available at night to admire
the full impact of the beauty and power of the colossus
and its non-ending fireworks of molten rock and
thunderous explosions.
